Question Narrow booster with harness?

Any suggestions for a narrow booster for my 6 y.o. that has a harness?
I'm trying to fit a rear-facing infant carseat into my Ford Five Hundred with three across. It seems to work now (using some suggestions posted here!), but it is too hard to buckle the booster I'm using now (which doesn't have a harness and uses the seatbelt).
Thanks!

Depending on how tall your 6 yo is, there may not actually be a narrow harnessed option (top slots on the Sunshine Kids Radian, which is the narrowest seat, are about 17 inches, outgrown by most kids somewhere between age 5-7, typically).
Maybe there's an easier to buckle booster seat that might work, though? What seat are you using now? (They kind of all look the same, but some are boxier or wider than others, some are narrower or lack armrests, and there can be a huge difference in ease of buckling :) )

I think the narrowest booster with a harness likely to fit a 6 year old is the Graco Nautilus. It is not terribly narrow, but isn't the Ford Five Hundred a full size car? The Radian will usually fit a 6 year old and it very narrow, but it doesn't convert to a booster.

Another really narrow one would be the SafeGuard Go - though it might be cumbersome as a daily seat.

I just looked online at the SafeGuard Go, and it looked pretty good. Why do you think it would be cumbersome as an everyday seat?
Also, we live in NYC and don't drive all that often...about once a week with the kids.
My 6 y.o. is average height...about 44 inches tall and about 48 lbs. Looking online, the Radian and SafeGuard are both about 3 inches narrower than the Nautilus, but the SafeGuard looks like it might be narrower in the middle and therefore leave more room in general.
I've seen lots of recommendations for the Radian here. Is that generally seen as a better seat than the SafeGuard (we do have top techer anchors, which I saw are necessary for the SafeGuard Go).
Thanks!

The Go is basically a backless booster w/ harness and head-pillows. It has 2 adjustors at the hips instead of the normal between the legs adjustor. It needs head support behind it, and works best w/ LATCH (which I assume the 500 would have in that position). It doesn't offer much side-impact protection at all. I'd try a full seat first before going to that.

What booster is (s)he in now?

The GO could work if your child has a relatively shorter torso than mine. I don't think it would be at all cumbersome as an everyday seat. It's different, but not hard to use. Do you have high seatbacks/headrests in your car? The seat itself doesn't provide head support. From what I've read about the GO, it has about 1.5-2" less torso room than the Nautilus. If you can measure torso height (sit with legs crossed against the wall and measure from the floor to the shoulder), this can help narrow down what seats might fit.
