Looking for a new seat

I am looking for a second Car seat. We have a britax roundabout in my wifes car, and I am looking for a good seat in for my car. My daughter is 17 months now, about 25 pounds, but is not very tall. The seat needs must be easy to move in and out of the car as I work at a VW dealership and I drive a company car. All of the vehicles have the latch system. I change vehicles about every 3 weeks and the seat must be able to come out for test drives and such. I also will have another brand new baby in feb. A seat that could handle both would be very nice.

Thanks

Some ideas

This week, you can get the Cosco Triad on sale at Kmart for 15% off the normal price of $79.99. You can get it at bluelight.com for the same discount (net. $67.99). It has the LATCH system. I own one, and its a nice seat for the money. See my review:

If you like Britax, they have the new Expressway model with LATCH. Supposedly it has been shipping for few weeks, but I haven't seen it at stores yet. It is very similar to the Roundabout, but is Front Facing ONLY. So, it would be fine for your daughter, but not for an infant (congrats BTW!). It will probably be around $200 retail.

Another option is the Fisher Price Safe Embrace II. This seat is discontinued, but is a very good seat with many similarities to the Roundabout. It is also LATCH. About $150 if you can find it. You might still find some of these at ToysRUs/BabiesRus.

Finally, any Century seat can be retrofitted with their EZ Latch system ($25 at Babies R Us). The Century Accel is a reasonable convertible seat if you get the 5-point harness version..

I think LATCH would be a great way to go for your situation. The Triad is not as nice as the Roundabout, but it is a decent (and safe) carseat. Of course, the Roundabout is a great seat. I have one also, and since you're familiar with it already it is also a great option.

For both children, keep them rear-facing for now if possible. This is safest, and your Roundabout and these other seats will go to 30-35 lbs rear-facing.

I have not been able to find the roundabout with LATCH. Any ideas where to look?

Does not exist yet.

The Expressway is your only LATCH option from Britax. It is very similar to the Roundabout, except that it has a new (theoretically improved) harness system and cannot be used rear-facing at all.
