Checking weight to turn Blvd

How do you check your child's weight to know about turning them ffing? If I get a home scale would that be ok, or is the scale at a ped's office any better?
DD1 weighed 30 lbs on a friend's scale so I want to start checking more often since her seat goes to 33 lbs. Then I can decide if we'll get a Scenera or ff in the Blvd. (She's 3 yrs 2 months)

TIA!

I check the ped scale to see how often it is calibrated. A lot of the time, it isn't very often, and so it is off by more. Check your vet or where you work out.
