I need a seat for my DS! I can not decide! He wants a Mariposa MA but is not getting it LOL.

I am trying to decide between Radian 65, Radian 80, MA, BV.

For B I am getting either MA, BV, or Radian65. I want a pretty girly seat for her but there is not much to choose from for him.

Someone help me decide please!

At his age, I like to focus on the lower profile seats, simply because they don't look so much like "baby seats." It's not an issue with all kids, but I figure whatever we can do to get them to be in a 5point harness as long as possible and be happy about it is good. I know the frontier and Nautilus were not on your list, but could also be great choices. My top choice would be the Radian, but children rarely get more time in the Radian 80 than the 65, but I would buy the 80 for the nicer fabric.

For a 3yo I wouldn't even consider one of the Britax convertibles. I would get a Radian, or a Regent, Nautlius, or Frontier. :twocents:

For the baby, get whatever you like best :)

Well, I don't see the problem with butterflies for Zaylor, but I wouldn't get him another convertible, either.

Now I am reading about the Diplomat. That might be a good seat for my dd.

So.. Radian 80, or Nautilus.. Regent is out (had one before & wasn't fun installing it, this was before the 'changes' were made), and I would definetely consider a Frontier if I could find one in stock.

I wouldn't recommend the Diplomat. I don't think it's worth the money if you can fit a Boulevard in your car. It's a really nice seat and great if you have cramped space, but you will not be able to RF nearly as long and children tend to grow out of the Diplomat even sooner than they would outgrow the Roundabout. I'd go with a Boulevard if the SIP is really important or a Marathon or a Princess Radian.

I have the baby outboard since she is rf'ing, so I was looking at a seat with SIP. Does the Princess Radian have SIP?
Maybe I will stick with the BV for the baby, then.

They all have SIP. The Boulevard is the only one with "true side impact protection" but there is nothing saying it's any safer (other than Britax of course). For an outboard seat, though, the Blvd would be a great choice. Have you seen the Megan cover at BRU? It's definitely very girly!

I haven't seen any girly covers IRL, our closest BRU is 1.5 hours away. :(
I do really like the Shannon cover!

One more question. Are the BVs that are on sale at amazon.com old DOMs?
I really want a seat that rf's to 35 lbs.

In my car the SS1 takes up more room than my RF Radian 80. But, it all depends on the slope of your seats. What vehicle is this going in?

I haven't had mine rearfacing in that particular vehicle, but I have had it rearfacing in an, Ford--Escort, F150, Fusion, Five Hundred, Explorer Buick Lacrosse, Pontiac G6. I always put mine outboard behind the passenger seat as I usually don't have a passenger, but in every car but the Escort, there was ample room for a passenger. I  my princess radian.
