It WORKED!!!!!

While the GN isn't my all time favorite seat but it worked for what I needed desperately for dh truck. I needed a seat to sandwich next to our Regent (pass outboard) and install without much issues with the lapbelt only & long belt stalk in the center. Well it worked and it fits K2 with growing room. She is on the 2nd slot from the top with a little growing room on that slot. While dh really can't see out his rear view mirror which isn't an issue for him. I am just so glad to finally have a l/s belt back free when we need to transport another adult passenger.

I will try to get pictures of it tomorrow when there is light outside.

YAY! Glad that you got it figured out! I would LOVE to see pictures of it installed right next to the Regent, as well as how much room the person next to it would have!

what year was it again? Extended cab, right? The LATCH manual lists all GM extended cabs as having the style where you thread through the loop and attach to an adjacent TA. Maybe that needs to be revised for the 2009 edition.

It's an '02 crew cab (4 full doors & full back seat) 2500HD Chevy Silverado. I promise you ladies we have owned this truck for 7yrs and it has actual top tether anchor hooks on the back wall (no loops at all on the seat back).

ah, crew cab makes a difference. I thought you said extended cab before. Crew and regular cabs have the proper TAs. I can't figure out why they'd use the other kind in extended cabs.

I'm glad the works for you. :)
