did you guys see the FF bucket on Desperate Housewives????

I know we see misuse on tv all the time, but c'mon, a FF infant bucket??? With a low chest clip too, of course.
Funny thing is I wasn't even looking for a sec and didnt see a baby at all, and then DH said "can't believe that kid is FF so young". LOL I had him rewind and was proud of him for noticing but he said he only said it to make fun of me....

Didn't see that, but I had a fit when we watched "License to Wed" last week. Okay, so they were dolls, not babies, but still. Sheesh.

I got upset with I saw an infant seat foward facing in a Berenstain Bears Bears book I was reading last night. They had the baby bear (not sure what her name is though) in a infant seat front facing in their car, but they had it rearfacing on the airplane (they were traveling out to the West for a vacation). I guess bears can have different safety rules then humans though.

I get upset with Cailou because he's in some sort of weird booster seat without a seatbelt!! I was watching Cast Away last night and they had a britax roundabout rear facing in a jeep cherokee (my husband was just mortified that i actually notice stuff like that!!)

I also saw License to Wed this weekend. Yup, two giant dolls, FF in Primo Viaggios, chest clips nowhere to be seen (um, and did you notice they left the mall with only the two dolls? Where were the other twin boys?).

I think Calliou (and Arthur's DW) rides in a shield booster. Although I hear DW may have recently put back into a 5pt harness.

Why do we notice these things???

Grr. I hate this stuff. I noticed a FF Graco SnugRide in a Mitsubishi Galant commercial about three years back now. I emailed them, their advertising company, etc. and got a heck of a reply from Mitsubishi about how they were reshooting that part of the commercial and were incredibly sorry.

I'm all about writing letters to complain.

Someone once pointed out that the Rugrats all sit FF, in a 4-across. I want THAT van.

I took Isaiah to the park last week. I passed a car with a FF SnugRide in the back seat. They were very handy, though. They managed to remove the LATCH strap from the base and use it to secure the seat in the middle of the back seat...

Exact same situation in Cheaper By The Dozen 2. The oldest daughter has a baby right at the end, and a few days later, they are leaving the vacation house with the newborn FF and enough room for another baby in the harness. :thumbsdown:

There's a car commercial showing now that has a girl with the seatbelt totally off to the side of her shoulders. How can they think it looks right?
