A cool view of APEX v REGENT

Here's a cool comparison picture of the APEX vs Regent size wise. The APEX is my seat (for my sister's car in the future) the Regent is from KDMF and will be going to its new home this week! ;) I have to intall the top tether this weekend for the mother. Hopefully on Sunday if she's not busy in the evening. The seat came this morning. It felt like Christmas. I can't wait to work with the family.

DS went to bed at 9pm. I spent my Friday night playing with this Regent and taking pictures. I need a life. DH called me from work and said "Let me guess your messing around with the seat." ;)

YK, I've always heard and thought that the Apex was every bit as wide as a Regent, but I've never seen them side-by-side. Holy crow, it really is that wide!

The apex wouldn't be a bad seat but the harness heights are way TOO low. The lowest slot is 9 inches! A baby w/ a 9 inch torso should be rear facing! My DS is already on the 3rd set of harness slots on the APEX. Not alot of growing room.:twocents:

i had the apex before getting the regent & had heard that the 2 are quite simialr in size. what's funny is the regent fits better in our capt chair than the apex. the armests on the vehicle had to pushed hard to get down pastteh sidewalls of the apex but it swings up & down without any trouble with the regent. isn't that funny. to me she doesn't look any different in the regent than the apex (overall size wise) - i was so used to seeing her look so tiny in there. the apex harness is much shorter than the regent. but i do like the apex. it'll hold my DD to 5yo (i think). the price was right too.
