Three across question

We need to put three across in our Durango soon. We can fit them in like this FF MA, SS1, FF MA. The SS1 really needs to go in the middle because of the serious lack of leg room in the back seat of a Durango. So my question is for those of you who have done three across with a bucket seat in the middle. Do you remove the bucket when you get where you are going or just always take the baby completely out of the seat? It seems like it would be really difficult to take the bucket out, but I would really like to take it out for the first few months. After that I would get the baby out, or at least that is what I did with my first two.

I've done both - left it in and pulled it out. But when taking the bucket out, I'd pull it out from the front drivers side seat.. so just turn my body, pull it between the two front seats and over the steering wheel. The other idea is opening the back hatch and getting it that way (crawl in, pull it out that way).

I leave the SS1 installed (also in the middle row of a Durango ) and just take H out, but when she was smaller and in her SnugRide I took the whole seat out.... It worked well either way for me.
