05 Ody only 1 3rd row top tether anchor

What do I do if I need to install FF seats in the 3rd row of my Ody in the outboard positions? There are times when family visits that I have to intall 2 Marathons in that 3rd row and not TT them makes me so nervous. I really, really despise the fact that TT anchors cannot be added on this model year. If I knew what i know now I would have bought the Sienna.

Isn't it frustrating?

I wish cars designed toward families with young children were more carseat friendly.

The seats do pass testing without the top tether. Until recently, most European cars didn't have top tether anchors (many still don't). However, some of the seats have forward facing lock-offs to mimic tethers in reducing head excursion. As long as you're using the ff lockoffs on the l/s shoulder belts, it should be fine. It's not the ideal situation, but not necessary unsafe either.

Keep in mind that as the children grow you won't be able to use a Regent over 50 lbs or Frontier over 65 in the outboard positions.
