I ordered it at 4:00 pm on April 30th and got it today, May 5th at 10:00 am!
It was $189.98 with free shipping.
DOM 3-08
It has the new wider buckle tongues (I REFUSE to call them *tongs* ).
It has the new longer crotch strap.
I'm still not crazy about the way the splitter plate works. Seems odd to me.
I already had an extra Britax chest clip to put on it. (Done!)
And it is Granite, which I am sure will hide the dirt better than the "too light" Champagne,
which son already has in his truck.
I bought it for my almost 7 yr old, 39 1/2 lb. granddaughter to have in my son's girlfriend's car,
where her own almost 8 yr old and 9 yr old use only the seatbelts.
(They both have lap belt only in the center of their back seats so if DGD moves to a booster that would put one or the other of the GF's kids in a lap belt.)
Ironic, huh? But son's ex (mother to granddaughter) and I have at least
convinced son that his life will be more pleasant if he goes along with us on this .
And I have an almost 3 yr old grandson to pass it down to once she moves to a booster
so it's not a totally frivilous purchase. (so I will tell my husband if he notices...)
