I have had 4 children the oldest is 22 the youngest is 7. I am also a grandmother of 1-2yr old and in july i will have my 2nd grand child. I have always been a fan of hanging on to certin items that i feel may be useful again in the near future. It wasn't untill just recently I found out that Car seats have an expiration date.
Car seats for children are not cheep they are an expensive item. They are also sometime difficult to move from car to car. I prefer to have one in my car just in case i have the grand child but didn't keep mom's carseat.
Now that i know they expire i don't know what to do. Do you throw it away or is there some way to trade the care seat back to the manufactur to recycle and get a discount on a new purchase? If there isn't there should be!
Let me know if you hear or know of any.
