New Regent with torn mesh pocket?? WWYD?

I just noticed that our ds new Regent has a small tear in one of the mesh pockets! He has only ridden in it about 5 times and has never put anything in or near the pockets! I had to ride in the back yesterday next to him and I notced it right away. Has anyone else ever had this type of problem? I don't know whether to contact anyone or just not worry about it. I am not happy about the tear and I am certain we didn't do it. If I were to call someone should I contact the place I purchased it online from or Britax directly? I don't want to seem crazy or something over this small tear but it could get worse if he were to use the pocket for something in the future!

If you don't mind the work, hand-sewing it up yourself might well be the quickest fix ...

I do sew a little but not vey well! I am not sure that you can stitch the mesh pocket! It's not like it's a solid fabric. It has holes that are ripped apart.

I would call Britax. They're usually pretty good about replacing covers.

I will call on Monday! Do you think they will ship me one and then I can ship them ours?? I don't want to be without a cover!

I think worst case they'll ask for your credit card number so they can charge you if you don't send yours back.

They replaced my sil's Blvd cover because the slots didn't match up and they didn't even ask for her old one back.

I don't mind sending it back, I just don't want to be without a cover in the meantime! I hope this is an easy thing because this carseat thing is taking over my life! Or at least that's what DH says!!
