Here are the pictures of the built in car seat & the inflatable car seat from a fire department. The 1st picture is of the captains seat in the back of the ambulance. The seat is rear facing and is where the emt would sit and treat the patient. In the case where the seat is occupied by a child, the emt can sit on the bench which is beside the stretcher. The seat says 20-50lbs. and under 47":
The next photos are of the inflatable car seat which says 20-40lbs. and under 40" tall. It is inflated using a little air compressor and its fairly easy to install. Could not get a good install with just the lap belt so my husband says they also use a strap around the top to secure, then it was a solid install.
