I noticed several people saying it was hard-to-impossible to buckle the seatbelt, when using the Frontier in LATCHed booster mode. I just wanted to ask for clarification...
Does the problem come up because the LATCH anchors (in the seat bight) are usually offset somewhat from the seatbelt position? So that when you LATCH the booster, it is sort of on top of the seatbelt buckle? Or is the problem just that the width/shape of the Frontier is such that it is hard to access the seatbelt buckle, regardless of LATCH anchor position?
I'm trying to get an idea of whether this problem would arise for those who aren't LATCHing the seat in as a booster, or whether it is strictly a seatbelt/LATCH offset issue.
If it is an offset problem, don't other LATCHable boosters run into this problem also? Seems hard to avoid....??
