25 month old in Radian question

I just turned our Radian FFacing since DS's at the RFacing limit. We are taking a trip via plane this week and will be using this seat as our travel seat. I took him out to the car to adjust the harness height and he's about 1/100th of an inch below the 2nd harness slot. Does it seem unusual that a 25 month old is just about on the highest harness slot on the Radian? I'll try to take a pic later.

Thanks!

We moved AJ to the top slots at 34 mos I think it was, he still has room left though and should last till about 6.5yo.

We just moved Mikkel up to the top slots. He'll be 3 in a week.

His brother (who had a longer torso than him at that age) is also still in a Radian with about 1 - 1.5" left before he reaches the top slots. He just turned 6.

Their torso growth really starts to slow down around age 4 - 5 while their legs play catch up... at least that's been my experience.

Leah's been AT the second to top slots for a couple months now, RF... I just installed it the other day and haven't checked, but she might have to go into the top ones already! She's bigger than her sister at this age, but I still expect her to fit in it till she's at least 6 (big sister fit till age 7).

:)

Our DS(turned 4 years last month) is a bit below the second from the top slots and has been since we bought the Radians last Spring.

He has grown but not much in the torso I guess.

Well it's good to know we aren't the only ones and that we aren't going to be growing out of it too soon:) Thanks!

I think it all depends on the height of the child and the way they are sitting at the moment. But that is my opinion.

Jack and drew are both at the 2nd to top slots at age 2. I moved it up a while ago and they really haven't grown that much since than so i wouldn't worry about it.

Looking back to how my dd fit the Marathon at 30 months, I think she would have been just under the Radian's second-to-top slots at that age...yet she didn't truly outgrow the Radian until age 6 (and she's in the 97th percentile for height...I just measured her today, about two weeks since I measured her last, and she's grown another half an inch! spring always brings a big growth spurt).
