    good booster

Hi! I am thinking about getting a booster for my 5 1/2 yr. old who weighs 48 lbs. I'm not sure how tall he is (how bad is that!! This would only be for times his grandparents or my sister take him off ( like to lunch across town, think small town) anyway, he is currently in a safeguard 99.9% and a blvd the other %. I would like it to be the safest one. I know NOTHING about boosters. thanks!

The Compas B510 may be a good choice since it folds for storage.

Since it isn't going to be used much (and even if it were) the Britax Parkways are being discontinued and are as low as $59 ( These are very highly regarded, safe seats with good side impact protection. Also the Recaro Vivo and the Sunshine Kids Monterey are good.
