monterey is HERE!! slideshow & 1st impressions

just arrived! took a bunch of pics with my DS 9 in may, 70lb, 55.25in with a 19in torso straightlegged & 19.5 criss crossed

i compared the monterey to the turbo we have. i also ordered a parkway & due to arirve on friday so i can comapre that one as well.

1st impression. BEAUTIFUL, VERY STURDY, heavy, soft & comfy. DS ABSOLUTLY LOVES IT! he says it is MUCH comfier than his turbo (i'm not surprised) the headwings are great pillows- not bothered by him at all. he likes the cozy side wings. in the slideshow he has them about 1/2way out.

he appears to have some grow room. enoug to keep? not sure liek i said we'll decide after the parkway comes too. i thought i'd totally rule it out but not yet. i just love the feel of it.

oh i have NO LATCH so i can't comment on that. the belt fits him well on both lap & shoulder, the seta seems to have adequate space for hiney & legs. there is not a HUGE difference between turbo & monterey on the seat depth & width.

oh the belt guide is not AS open as the turbo is but it seems to work OK.

since i took alot of pics i figure i'll give ya a slideshow. easy to post.

How very strange, even the old Radians were 7yrs. Maybe it's a typo?

I really like the side wings by the shoulders, those are looking nice. I'm a SIP type girl so those make me feel good.

I am also curious as to the PW comparison; I know that IMO there is no comparison between the two; I LOVE the Monterey!!!
