Recalls!!

I have a question? I have a car seat that's on loan to me. It's an Evenflo Discovery that was made back in March of 98. It's the kind that the base buckles into the car and then the carrier just snaps into the base. My husband (and myself) are worried that the hinge that holds the carrier may or may not do it's proper job. How can I find out if there have been any safety recalls on this particular car seat??? If possible I would like to receive replys at my email address.... jmoore@hou.quik.com

While I don't see any recalls, I do see a couple safety warnings on the second list.

Since you are not the original owner, please be sure to verify (if you can) that all the parts are intact, and that the carseat has never been in an accident.

I would like to move this post to the Car Seats forum. I'll leave it here for a few days to make sure you've seen the response.
