Safety 1st Momentum

In the Target ad today, they were showing the Safety 1st Momentum.

It looked very much like another Cosco 3-1, with red tabs to adjust the harness/headsupport.

Just curious: Does this seat have any features that distinguish it from it's clones?

I saw the Monument today at Target. Its the same thing as all the rest, just newer padding and fancy red tabs....oohh!!:p
Target also had the Marathon on sale for $129, but the MOD was 1/08 so its the 33lbs. rf limit right?

 OOPS!

I don't have the ad - I was reading the paper while babysitting earlier today.

Obviously, my short term memory needs some help.

Has anyone seen it IRL?

That's only Britaxes (February) and Radians (hopefully soon) that are going up in RF weight, Dorel seats have always been 35 :)

NOPE! Not any difference that I can see besides a newer cover & maybe a little more padding. I wish they would top making these seats or at least make them last longer. I got suckered into buying one of these seats when my DS outgrew the SR @ 5 months, b/c it looked so nice & said it would last so long. LIES LIES LIES...it's ALL FREAKIN LIES! Okay...sorry, but I feel better now!

I actually bought one, for my son, as an attempt to replace the EFTA we have (the red tabs jab him in the neck). In any case, they're identical to all the other 3 in 1's. I also bought an AOE from Walmart as the bases were slightly different. Anyway, they installed poorly in our vehicle so they got taken back. Identical seat, though (to make a long story short:)).

Rule #1 if you have to install an AOE / 3in1: Remove the Cheerio Catcher (Base). W/o that awkward plastic thing, it is usually easier.

I thought that Monument was the name of the pattern or something. When I looked at it in store, the shelf tag said Safety 1st All In One or something similar. I'm heading over there now to get some stuff, so now I must check it out. As if I would ever skip the car seat aisle at Target. LOL!
