How does the harness adjust on the nautilus?

I have a friend who is considering this seat and she asked what I thought about it because I'm a carseat nut! I hadn't even looked at it but told her it was recommended a lot on here. So last night I was at bru by myself for a change (we need a happy dancing smiley to go here!) and they had one on display. I was looking at the back of it and there was a plastic thing that the straps had to go through before going over red rollers. They couldn't find the manual that goes with the seat, but it seemed to me that you would have to guide the straps up through the plastic cover thing to move them, but what about the top harness slot? It seemed like it was above the red rollers, and the rollers didn't seem to move. How easy is it to adjust?

Once you attach the harness to the plate the harness will rest on the red rollers (in the tallest position). When the seat is installed and there is a child in the harness, the adjust is okay. It's easier than the marathon, but still takes some strength.

So the clear plastic things don't pop off? How hard is it to move the straps to a slot behind those?

I had the same question after I saw a floor model in Baby Depot. It is hard to explain but I've adjusted the harness straps on mine several times and it is very easy. If it is on the lower set of slots (behind the clear box) you just push the harness through and it kinda goes up toward the red rollers. You grab it over the rollers and attach to the metal splitter plate. The harness is smooth as butter. We don't adjust ours, but I have played with it and it is awesome. Nothing like the MA, which I hate.

Thanks! I will definately tell her to be on the lookout for one. Her dd has just outgrown a scenera and she had planned on putting her in a booster, but doesn't think she's ready yet. If only bru had one other than the display!
