Storage of Latch connectors in Blvd

I'm packing my Blvd up for shipping to SIL - I have a question about storage of Latch connectors, as there car doesn't have Latch. So, I pulled the latch connector along the latch bar and through the RF seatbelt path, so that it's under the cover of the seat. The instructions then send to put the latch connectors in the slots at the back of the seat. This means the Latch strap runs the depth of the seat and under the harness straps that come from the side. Is this right? It was difficult to see from the photo in the manual.
Thanks.
