My parkways are here now!

My other thread was not updating the way it should, so I am starting a new one.

I ordered two university parkways from Albee baby. They were a great price. I ordered a purple and navy one. The parkway's covers are very soft and they are nicely padded. My 6 year old got very, very excited when he saw his blue one. He wouldn't stop touching it. He fits very nicely and I love how the sides wrap around him. We took a test drive with it in the van and he sat without wiggling. We have been working on safe booster riding for short trips for awhile now because I knew the time was coming that he would outgrow his Radian. He still has a little bit of room left in it, but we are going to try out the parkway for a couple of longer trips this week and see how he does.

My 7 year old also fits very well in the parkway. She is very happy about how comfortable it is, but she did complain about how hard the back of the headrest is. I guess she just has to complain about something.

Yesterday I could not fit the parkways in my corolla. I was very upset about that because I need three across and have low seatbacks. DD is very close to outgrowing her fpsv booster with the back. I tried combination after combination of seats in that car. rf and ff convertibles. I was upset all night about the parkways not working. I decided to try again this morning and I ended up getting them to work. The only way to do it is a ff radian centered in the middle for my 2 year old, and the two parkways outboard. The children won't be able to buckle themselves, but I can do it with some effort. At least they will be safe. I currently have one parkway and one fpsv in the corolla because ds really wanted to ride in the parkway in the van.

I will have pictures later on today!

Yes, thank goodness for the parkway and radians. I just wish I could have fit the radian rearfacing, but it is too long and dh can't even get behind the driver's wheel with the radian rearfacing.
