Benjamin can buckle himself in his marathon! I've been trying to get him to at least try to buckle the harness and he has been pretty resistant to even trying. Last time we were at my moms both he and I watched my niece buckle herself in and I figured out why she was able to do it, my SIL was loosening the straps first, letting her buckle, and then tightening it. For those curious she just turned 6 and if I had to guess I would say 45 inches tall and 37 lbs. I did that for Benjamin and it totally worked! He will be 5 in Aug and is 43 lbs and 43 inches tall.

Thats Great! How know how that can help with trying to buckle everyone in your vehicle by yourself!:) DS#2 can buckle himself in his Nautilus alot easier than he could his Husky. The Husky had the old buckle that only clicked and locked when both pieces where in. It got hard for him to hold one side and try to push the other. With the Nautilus he has learned to loosen, buckle, move his chest clip up to the right spot, and then retighten his harness! Makes it alot easier on my back since he is on the opposite side of the 3rd row from the access!:D

Yay! I just reharnessed my 6 yo in a Nautilus. She gets herself in and out of that thing way faster than she ever could in the TB- I love it!! I don't have to adjust the harness at all even. She sits right behind me so it's easy to double check and we're off.
