Looks like dd when she was around 15-17 months old. Yeah, I had her rfing then, but I'm still trying to figure out what's so terrible & horrible about this photo.

Harness looks tight -- chest clip in the right place. I see a safe & happy contented little girl when I look at the photo. If the child is over 20lbs & 12 months, she's perfectly legal.:(

Sure, she could be rear facing for a heck of a lot longer and I'd like to see the message passed along to parents. But there are kids this age in this city in decrepit or NO seats. Not perfect --- still, this would be such an an improvement over the local area. :shrug-shoulders:

I guess she just looks so tiny and petite to me. She doesn't look anywhere near ready for forward facing. But your right, there is worse, much worse. I just wish that they would show children this size rear facing vs. forward facing.

as i always say, the lawmakers are the ones to be mad at, not advertisers like that. they're well within the law. it's the law that is inadequate. you'll have more influence writing to your senators than complaining to advertisers.

I disagree. Laws don't get changed without a change in public opinion. Public opinion is shaped in many ways by the media. As long as the minimums are what people see, that is what the legislation will reflect.
