My dd one yr well check was this morning. I was anxiouse when I went in becuase I wanted to approach her about ERF. I know of TWO peds in this area who feel it is fine to turn your big 10-11 mos old because they are the size of a 1yr old.
She brought up that she still needs to be rf till she is at least 20lbs. I told her that it wasnt a problem and that I had actually read an article in Pediatics March issue that said it was 5x safer to rf till 2yrs. She said she had heard of ERF and was going to look into it. I also printed out some other info and told her I brought it for her to read. She gladly took it. :thumbsup: I am hoping she starts telling parents the minimum WITH best practice.
