WWYD? More $ for an ick color or wait?

Would you spend a little more money to get a set now in a color that is rather undesirable or wait until the color you want is available (in about a month) on the same seat for a better price?

While we need a seat fairly soon, it really is just a backup. I'm torn. I want the best deal I can get, but is that deal the best price NOW or a better price on a better cover LATER? ARGH! Why can't all stores have all color options? Or at least more than one option!

what seat are you talking about? I bought the worser color now than wait for the pink frontier in the unknown future time line.

EFTA as a backup for grandma's car. Every brick and morter store is 139.99 but BabyUniverse is 129.99 backordered until 5/30 but BabyAge is 124.99 but usually out-of-stock. I just checked and it's not showing as out-of-stock so I might have to go get that right NOW!

For a back-up seat, waiting isn't that big of a deal. You can always move your primary seat if you really need to.

If I needed a seat now, I woudn't worry about color. I don't really worry about it anyway though. If this is just an extra seat is the color really a big deal? I can see not getting a Princess Radian for your son if that was the deal, but most seats would be fine for anyone. And it sounds like your child won't even be riding in it very often.

Is the cover you want not out now? Or are there covers right now that you like? If so, how much more expensive are they? $10-$20 isn't that big of a deal to get a more appealing cover IMO.

Well I got the seat in the fabric Grandma likes for a price I like at BabyAge.com. It's a backup for now for when I'm at work. Right now it would only get used if someone clobbers herself and has to go to urget care. In which case, I probably wouldn't get home fast enough to use the seat that's in my car. Then again, what would be the odds that if we used the seat that she's outgrown by weight that there would be an accident after having an accident at home on the way there? Guess I just have to stop feeding my chunky monkey so she'll fit in her seat longer!;)
