Tell me about the titan

I've picked up a couple twin titans that were only used a handful of times. No accidents, no cleaning. The DOM is sept 05.

It looks like they rear-face to 30 pounds and forward face to 40. Is there anything funky or bad about the seat?

Well, the biggest thing for me is that the harness adjuster is very sticky, especially on that era of Titans. Also, the bottom two slots are the only ones for rearfacing. This makes is hard to ERF in it because the top two cannot ever be used for rearfacing. Also, there is some debate about the top slots. They are no more than 15", so some kids will outgrow them early.

Okay, thanks. My kids should be fine in them because they are short torsoed. (My 5 year old has a 14.5 inch torso.) Since the seats are free and in fine condition they'll work for us. So, those notches in the shell aren't a problem?

We have the tribute with bigger notches, so I got the eps foam to go in it. I was wondering if I needed to do the same for these titans.
