Combi Zeus

I think the Combi Zeus is a great idea especially for getting bigger kids in their seats if they are ERF. But...I scrolled down on elitecarseats and read the max rf weight is 22 lbs. If true, this seat sucks as it wouldn't get a lot of infants through their first year. Anyone know if this is a misprint?

What a serious flaw. I'm thinking it wasn't anyone with children or CPS training that designed this carseat. So, what do you do...Buy a $300 carseat, put your infant in it and cross your fingers they hit 22 pounds after their first birthday? What a crappy design. I just might email Combi...what idiots. And at this price you can just about buy two Roundabouts on sale for that price :scratcheshead:

The concept is good, but execution is horrible. The seat is tiny! (althought it takes up tons of room)

I saw one in person and didn't even try to put my 27 pound 3 1/2 year old in it. I believe the top slot is only 13 inches. That is 4 inches lower than the Marathon. That is huge.

So it's like a $300 Comfortsport? Someone asked about it online (she was pg) and I mentioned the low rfing limit and rfing as long as possible and she decided not to get it. :)

This is just the biggest testimony of all time about this seat...I always tell people this when they ask about it, lol (like, on other boards... "Really, I know this mama with a small kiddo and she didn't even TRY to put her kid in it, it's THAT small!")

I also have to agree that that is the biggest waste of $300 that I can think of. While I have to agree that it is a great design & I would LOVE to have something like it that would keep my DS RF for a long time to come & then keep him harnessed, this seat is just not it. My DS weighed 20lbs at 5 months & then weighed around 22lbs at about 7 months, so he would not have even made it to a year. Also it looks to me to have a short shell as well as short harness slots. What a waste of a seat. Just like the Comfort Sport which I hated!
 to Combi!
