it was an old centruy seat that expired last december. it's been stripped, sitting in the garage waiting to be cut into pieces i just wasn't quite sure how to go about it. it was a beautiful day outside and so i took dh electric saw thing (can't remember which one, like the sawzall) and cut it to pieces. we have a hispanic family as nieghbors and they were outside and i think they thought i was crazy.
i have dd #1's snugride that expires this december to do next but i couldn't bring myself to actually cut it up. it expires this december and i've already cut all the straps and harnesses but some part of me thinks maybe someone will be desperate for a car seat and can just buy replacement harnesses to use until december. but even as i write this i know infant seats aren't that expensive and i should just take care off it now. we haven't acutally used it since ds in 2004 because i borrowed my best friends more girly seat for dd #2 when she was born.
