I think I'm finally going to take the classes!

To become a CPST of course! Some classes finally opened up around here. The closest one is an hour away though so that'll suck. I can't believe they don't have any closer to columbus. All the classes are in these little towns I've never heard of.

Anyways, I have to figure out childcare. DS shouldn't be a problem. My MIL loves to babysit him. I'll have to see if our nurse can work extra long for 3 days because the classes are from 8-5:30, plus the hour drive each way. The last day is just 9:30-2 or something like that.

I already asked if I'd be able to pump. She said we get a 1/2 hour for lunch and several 5-10 min breaks. I figure I'll just have to pump at lunch and power pump during the breaks, then pump a whole bunch during the evening. I don't think 4 days will make or break my supply.

I also have to make sure I can get there. My car has issues, so I might have to get my mom to trade with me.

And surprisingly money isn't an issue, I can actually afford the fees right now.

That's a lot of crap to figure out and I'm sure some people think I'm crazy, but I know you all will understand!

Columbus Ohio? I know, those classes are all far away! I couldn't really afford the gas or a hotel so I wound up emailing two instructors from Columbus and got into a controlled class 1/2 hour from where I live (Carroll, Ohio, a ways down 33.)

If you're in OH, maybe I'll see you at a check sometime!

That's great! I wish we had classes available near where I live. Do you mind if I ask how much the class is for you? I've been trying to figure out how to know if I have found a reasonably priced class.

Wooohoo! :D That's great! I hope it all works out for you. I had to take the class roughly 1.5 hours from home, too. The first time I attempted it (and dropped out after the first day) I was driving back and forth each day and had my first-ever (at least that I recognized) panic attack on the way home and decided to not go back. Stuff happened at class as well, it wasn't just the drive home/panic attack, but it all combined to be too much for me to handle. :( But the second time I attemped it was great, still 1.5 hours from home but it was in a different town, the same town my mom and Nana live in, so I was able to stay there and the entire vibe of the class was different, and great.

Anyway, I'm rambling, I'm just so happy you're (hopefully) going to be able to take the class! I know you've been wanting this. :)
