I had it narrowed down to the Joovy and the P&T as well. After test driving the Joovy several times (DH tried it out, too) I just didn't like the handlebar. It was an awkward angle and not the right height. Hated it. Love our P&T3. DDs are 4 and 7 mo (3yr 5 mo apart). Also, when DD tried out the Joovy, she was insisting to be buckled in--Mommy, it's not safe! Um, I didn't realize she had actually been listening all those time I reminded her to sit down and let me do a buckle.
She's tall and fits fine in the top jump seat (newborn/toddler moe) even with the sun shade down.
What I like about this is when you're done using it as a double stroller, you still have an awesome single stroller. No problem with not having foot room in the back, even with a bag in the basket. We've put our too-heavy-but-we're-going-to-do-it-anyway DD in the back and not had any tipping problems.
I think I even saw Right Start was having a special--free doubles kit with the purchase of a P&T. Here's a link to their website:

We got the extra hand bag and belt and it's a little large if an older child sits in the back. I end up taking it off and stuffing it in the basket so it doesn't bonk their head. I'd probably just get a clip-on cup holder instead. We also got the infant car seat adapter. It was okay. After I got the sunshade adjusted correctly the adapter just gave me fits and in desparation one time I put the seat on without the extra bar and it was still really sturdy. I wouldn't do that if the surface was at all uneven, but for a mall, it was fine.
