Impression of the Galaxy GN vs. Matrix

I stopped at BRU today (I had to run an errand on that side of town) and they just recieved and displayed the GN today. The sides are softer than the Matrix which I think makes it seem more soft and plush all together. It really seemed to me that the Galaxy was slightly more padded on the seat than the matrix. I compared them twice (went out to my car to feel the Matrix and then back in to feel the Galaxy) and it really seemed a bit more padded. There is a possibilty it is just the outer fabric or that my cover is on very tight, but I don't think so. The softer fabric is in the neck area and the head area, so it may be more comfortable. This BRU had 6 out on the shelves.

I had planned to get another GN to replace the FPSVD in ds/s dad's car, but his dad is holding out on the opinion that Noah should go in a booster in August when he turns 5. So I do not know if I will win the battle, as I had hoped to have both the Galaxy and the Matrix. With the GN looking just like a booster, I do not know what issue he has with him staying harnessed.:shrug-shoulders:

Thanks for that, I was wondering about the two. I may have my sis pick me up a Galaxy if it seems more padded.

Did you like the color of it?

This was the first time for ds to see them, but the fun did ware off. It was the 3rd set for dd (I think) she gets a bit more possessive about them.
We may have some more born in June.

It has more of a plush look to it and IMO the Matrix is more stylish/cool looking for an older kid-has more of a TB booster look. It is very gray as is my car interior so I liked it based on that. The Matrix matches ds's dad's car as he has a black interior and silver exterior.
