washing a Blvd. cover

has anyone ever washed one? im just scared! lol! any tips? how long did it take to dry (i know not to put it in the dryer).

I did it in the bathtub with luke warm water and a bit of J&J baby wash. Then I kind of rolled it up to squeeze out the water and hung it over showerhead to dry.

All in all, it was out of commission for about 2 days.

The hardest part was getting the headwing cover on and off without cracking the foam.

I wash mine on the gentle cycle and then put it in the dryer on the lowest setting. It always turns out like new and I haven't had any shrinkage issues.

This was my experience too. The last Britax cover I washed I did put in the washer on cold, delicate cycle. Then line dried. It dried in about 1 day instead of 2 since the spin cycle got out much more water than I could.

The plush part of the fabric very stiff. Just take a clean bristle hair brush to it and it will soften right up.

You probably already know this, but you can't submerge the harness straps.
