I regulary babysit a 7 1/2 month old girl every weekend, and as I often have to go places, she comes with me. She is currently in a SnugRide, and I don't have a spare SR base to use with her. My question is should I...
A. Suck it up and install the car seat everytime you go someplace
B. Go out and buy an extra base to use for her
or
C. Use a convertible I have that is no longer use-able from my DN
Problems...
With option A. I must say, I absolutely hate installing/using infant seats without the bases, as I know most of you do, so I'm sure you feel my pain lol
With B. I'm not sure how long she'll be in her SnugRide...I don't know her stats on weight. I know for a fact she's good height wise...But I wouldn't want to buy one, only to see the next weekend I have her that mom's bought a convertible, KWIM? But I must say, I'd absolutely having that base! So much easier... and I like having the carrier... It's easier going places, snapping it into the stroller ect.
And C. Well, there isn't much of a problem with this... it's an AO, and it installs wonderfully in my car. I guess what I'm afraid of is that she'll sit in that seat and think to herself, wow! this is great! I'm going to throw a fit everytime I get put in my bucket, so mom will have to buy me one of these!
(Ok, I know, that last bit was a bit of an exaggeration lol, but I wouldn't want to upset mom in any way by not using "hers")
