Britax Monarch Review

We were in a wreck about three weeks ago so I had to get Emily a new booster. Since Britax no longer makes the Parkway (what she was in) I ordered her a Monarch. You'd think that I would have seen one by now since I sell them, but I have never ordered one. So, it was sight unseen! It came yesterday and I put it together last night and, WOW, this is a nice booster! It is extremely well padded and would be great for kids who are wider (I don't want to say "fatter" because there are kids who are just wide, but it would be great for fatter kids too). I'm not small. I wear about a 12/14 pants and I fit in the booster. Granted, I'm too tall for it, but I could use it as a backless. It adjusts in nice and small too so it will fit smaller kids as well. I really like that it has a lot of side impact protection without being narrow through the top too. Right now, one complaint Emily has about the Parkway is that there is nowhere to put her arms. That won't be a problem in this seat. So, overall, I'm very impressed with this seat.

We have two of them, and I also think they are wonderful!
(My only complaint is that they don't have 'fun' covers like the Parkway.
