So, I dreamed last night that I worked at BRU/or similar (the dream only existed in the car seat aisle, lol), and there was a Marathon on display for sale... for $50. It had a DOM of 06, which is why it was so cheap

For some reason, I was OK with the old DOM :scratcheshead: I grabbed it, and bought it, and was SO EXCITED, lol And had a really ugly plaid cover, that I promptly figured I'd replace.

I haven't had a car seat dream in a long time :ROTFLMAO:

I would have been ok with an 06 for $50, too

my car seat dreams have been me with all my nieces & nephews. I'm not sure how we got there, but it is just me and all the kds at a car lot, with car seats, trying to fit them all into all of the minvans. i was sucessful with an 8 passenger sienna (in the dream) but I kept trying to put all 6 seats into a 7 passenger oddy because I really wanted an oddy? I'm not sure why, but I was frantically trying to get them all in the oddy.

Heck, for $50, I'd buy an '06 MA. Still has 4 years left. That's $15 a year! For comparison, at MSRP, a Marathon is $44 a year.

My best deal was actually an '02 Super Elite, IIRC. $50. Yeah, it was used. But this was early '06, just after the recall came out. DS is still riding in the Marathon that Britax sent me as a (virtually free) replacement. $50 for SE, $18 to ship SE to Britax = $68 Marathon, w/ a 2 week old DOM.
