I just got an email on this today. I SO wish I could take one of the classes, but I don't think they will let me bring my breastfeeding newborn with me.

You should call the instructor and see what can be arranged. My class was split into 4 hour classes and I have just two days left. So far, there has only been two hours that would have been incompatible with a newborn. The seat installing! :D As long as you brought along someone to care for the baby and nursed before any outside activity, I can see a newborn being fine. :twocents:

None are close to me however. I wouldn't have anyone who could come with me, plus finding childcare for the other two would be difficult. Dh will use his vacation time when the baby comes. He *could* work from home, but that would mean my 8 yo and 5 yo would be expected to school themselves and be quiet and self entertain all day, every day. They are not ready for that.

That would be lots of fun so you can do the seat checks with me and I won't be the ONLY carseat addict Techie!

I know! It would be SO much fun. I emailed her a picture of my kids in their pink seats and she acted like she wasn't impressed :(

Also, she got a regent for her tech classes and hates it and probably won't use it to teach since it's a "beast and impossible to install" Yeah right... it takes practice, but I think it's SO much fun.

I'd trade her my Nauti for her "beast" LOL.

Anyone thinking about going to the one in Ludington?

I know one of the instructors for that class, and she's great. (Talked to her at a seat check event we did together yesterday, that's when she told me she's doing the Ludington class.) Diane D., for those of you who know her.
