Rear Facing Tether Point for 06 Odyssey

I am desperately looking for a tether point in my 06 Odyssey for a RF install of a Marathon. We can't get under the seat anchors for either of the front seats. If someone has please let me know the trick. We currently looped it around the anchor bar for the middle row seat, but I have been instructed in the past that RF tether points needed to be forward of the seat.

You were told correctly about top tethering a rear facing Britax convertible toward the front of the vehicle, rather than to the vehicle seat upon which the convertible is installed. This article http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t=9902 has great tips and photos showing where you can top tether a RF Britax in '05 and newer Odysseys.

Made the adjustment and now we're tethered to the tray bar as suggested in the article you recommended.

You can also remove the plastic cosmetic cover from behind and under the driver and front passenger seats to reveal a metal bar you can tether to. Just give it a few good tugs and it comes off (I have heard some people have needed a screw driver to pry it off but I got it off easily without one) and the plastic piece can be easily put back on once you don't need that tether point anymore.
