Don't you love holidays?

The candy, the food, seeing family, and gross seat misuse.

We'll just go with what we saw today, because I was lucky enough not to have to look in any cars yesterday. First is my niece (Madisyn) They didn't have her in the OHS they had her in the 5 pt. Of course, they hadn't moved the headrest up (it is an AOE) and the straps were super loose. The thing that bothers me? If they know I will see them, then they buckle her in properly. The seat was loose as could be, and they hadn't even bothered with the tether.

My cousin is a little over one month older than Kamille, and both of his parents are doctors. He left today in a backless, with the shoulderbelt under his arm. His small 6 yr old brother rode in nothing.
My 7 yr old cousin uses a seat belt adjuster.

Then the best one  My BIL had Trinity. he told me last week that he knew she was too big for the infant carrier. I am planning on buying her one for her birthday, as it will take me a couple weeks to get the money for a scenera even. He said they wouldn't be taking both kids anywhere for now, so they would use Ryders seat (crappy OHS) for her. He shows up today with her in the carrier, not even buckled in. Did I mention that they've already gotten their tax return, and bought a big screen tv, computer, and guest bed with it? Would it have been too hard to buy a $40 car seat??

I was VERY close, but, since the girls were already in the car, I just gave Trinity a kiss and said try to drive safe. They rarely have her with them :( They leave her at Tabby's moms house all the time. Unfortunately that is not much better.
