Save the date!

Thursday, May 15, 10AM Central time.

The main topic is Side Impact Protection for Children.

Our guests will be Dr. Laura Jana and Sarah Tilton from Britax Child Safety.

Time permitting, we will also field questions on Britax products in general, however, questions regarding side impact issues will have priority.

A thread for advance questions will be posted in the Announcements forum a few weeks before the event.

This is my first time being able to attend one of these chats. How are the CEU's reported? Do I have to do anything other than sign in for the chat?

You need to be present and introduce yourself during introductions at the beginning of the session. The chat room logs will then confirm your participation until the end. You will then receive an email with your CEU credit within a week or two, depending how many people attend.

That is cool. I am a new tech, do I just save the printed email to send in when it is time to recertify?

You will not need to send it anywhere unless you are audited. Print it for your records or save the email and you will just enter the information electronically on the safe kids website to recertify.

Reminder

Instructions for Tech access to the chat session can be found in this announcement:

Techs must be present at the beginning of the session and need to introduce themselves when prompted.

To join the chat room, please use the pull down "Chat Room" menu. If you do not have that option in the navagation menu, it most likely means you have not requested tech access as indicated in the link above. We will not be able to troubleshoot chat room or registration problems during the session or within 15 minutes before the session.
