I called Combi today about the infant seat recall. I wanted to get the retro fit kit, but I have since given my seat to a former co-worker and don't have the model number etc. When I called an told them that I needed the kit they said that they can't do anything with out that info, even though I have the seat registered with them. There is no way to look it up its "in a different file at a different department" I asked if I could speak to that department, she said no. (I wanted to ask if maybe they didn't have phones there?)

Is that normal? Why can they not look up that info?
