Will Cosco replace Touriva with notches?

My brother/sister in-law bought a Cosco Touriva for the grandparents to use in their vehicle. Not sure the date of purchase, but certainly less than 2 years old. I checked, and it does have the notches right at head level.

Is Cosco replacing these seats? Or do parents just have to destroy them and buy something else? Money is an issue, so it is not happy news that their purchase has to be trashed.

Cosco doesn't admit wrong with these seats, so you won't get anywhere with them. Sorry.

Nope, Cosco isn't replacing them. You might call and ask if they'll provide you with the piece of EPS foam that I understand they've used to change the problem in current seats. :shrug-shoulders:

They won't do anything about them. Not a replacement, not a fix, not even a discount on a new seat. (My mom and I have two.

) The new seats don't have EPS foam in the notches; they are manufactured with a new mold that doesn't have notches at all.

We made the decision to destroy our 2 that had the notches. It sucks, but I didn't feel comfortable letting people use the seats knowing what I knew.

Will Cosco replace Touriva with notches?
