I had asked this question in another thread but I think it got lost and no one answered 
I found some great pamphlets to print out and others have given me permission to use theirs on ERF, HWH, shield booster dangers, the "steps" of carseats, 5 step test etc.
My question is: are pamphlets I find on my own ok to hand out at our checks?? I am certified and do checks for the fire department I work for (so no checks directly with safekids or instructors). They have all their own pamphlets for those public checks, but we really have nothing. I dug some out of the Fire Departments basement but they were from 2001 (love the one that says anywhere from 17-22 pounds you can turn them forward facing!)
So do I Have to get permission from safekids(since they certified me) to hand out pamphlets that I find on my own or do I have to use pamphlets they approve??? Or since we are doing our own checks can we do whatever we want??? I guess my concern comes from if they allow you to hand out whatever you want, whats stopping people from printing out incorrect info and handing it out??
I just dont want to break any "rules". Thanks!!
