Tecnical Service bullitins

On my insurance website, they had these two bullitins listed for my 1994 Dodge Dakota truck. Does anyone know what tey mean? I know someone had looked in the latch manual for my truck before and didnt find anything.

If it was a safety risk, it probably would have been a recall. Could have been something like the labeling or instructions didn't meet the requirements of the standards. A dealer should be able to print you out the entire bulletin since you have the numbers.

A 1994 wouldn't have come with tether anchors. I'm betting it's a version of the Chrysler technical service bulletin saying that they will retrofit anchors free of charge.

The part number is 05017683AC and there are two tether points on the back wall (passenger side and center). You can also refer to technical service bulletin 23-008-00 Rev B.

Yeah, so I can get tethers installed :) I will be doing that Monday between classes (at least getting the tethers ordered)
