baby bundle for in carseat???

not sure if this is in the right place... as i was lookign at prices for an efta i found this on the baby universe sight.
it is a carrier that baby goes in and then it goes into the carseat and stroller. i know these things are not safe but this one had this in the description.
Crash tested and found compliant with the standards of FMVSS 213 not to interfere with the functionality of a convertible car seat

anyone ever seen one of these or used it. do you really think that it is safe.

It's a very misleading statement - FMVSS 213 doesn't apply at all. They can throw it at a wall and claim it meets FMVSS 213. No, it's not safe.

thanks i wouldn't buy on as i prefer a blanket so i can take it on and off as needed. but i was just curious when i saw that. nice they treid to make it seem safe by stating that. but i guess "spend $120 on this product that will keep you baby warm but may cause them to be seriously injured or die in a crash" wasn't a good selling point

OMG!!!:eek: Even it were tested and proven safe I just don't see a use for it. That could be the baby wearer in me speaking though. I also have a blanket in the car.
IF I were to have another child I would look for a carseat that came with its own bundle me.

that doesn't even LOOK safe. I never thought of bundling my child like that. I always used the blankets. That was even before I found this site!
