Longer MA LATCH straps on newer models?

Have they lengthened the LATCH straps on the newer Marathons? I was looking at aidensmom's pics in this thread:

Those LATCH straps are considerably longer than the ones on my MA. Which would be nice considering the trouble I had to go through to get them to fit RF in the Golf when I was playing around in there the other day!

What year is your MA?

Mine is an 06, you can't see the whole length in this pic, but you can see how I have the tail wrapped around the bar.

I was going to post an 06 RA too, except that's not accurate. It's one long strap, so it's not a set length on each side.

Yeah, those look a lot longer than mine. I suppose they decided if they're going to allow non-standard LATCH spacing they should make it possible?

Mine's an '02 (expires in Nov). Lemme see if I've got a pic that shows the LATCH straps... Ah, here we go. I kept tucking the end up out of the way so the pics looked "clean" LOL! Missed this one, though:
