Some of the radians are a little harder to tighten than other seats. I have found anyway. How tight is tight enough? Well some say if you can't pinch the harness then it should be tight enough. I don't think so though, as the harness can still be quite loose and I am not able to pinch it. I would go with the finger rule. I can slide 2 fingers underneath the harness (around the shoulder) when both fingers are flat against dc's chest, but i could not do this, without pain anyway, with my fingers perpendicular to dc's chest. Does that make any sence? I hope this helps.

Your daughter's harness should be tight enough that you cannot pinch a fold in the harness horizontally at the shoulder.

I'll let him know that and see if it was that loose this morning.... this is our first time FF and I am wondering if this has anything to do with that now that the strap come from above the shoulder instead of from below....

any other tips/tricks for tightening the radians straps? I remember something about a ratcheting pull/tighten action but I'm not sure what that means:confused:
