Is it sad. . .

That I was having such a horrible day until ds's new Regent got here, and now I'm actually going to get us all dressed and let the kids play outside, and then deal with the mud, so I can take it out to the van and play with it, uh, I mean install it? And that I haven't taken them outside in weeks because I don't feel like dragging my pregnant butt out there. I'm 38.5 wks pregnant. . . I hope my water doesn't break in the seat while I'm trying to install it, lol!

Just thought you all might understand.

No, not at all. I allowed Tucker to play in mud puddles so I could install a seat.

I hope your water does not break . Of course you are probably ready for the pg to be done.

Have fun playing...uh I mean installin the Regent.

Makes sense to me! And I've been there being hugely PG and crawling around in the car doing car seats. Neighbors thought I was nuts.;)

I never got as good an install with any seat as I did when I was 39 wks 5 days pregnant with dd2. LOL. Even the police officer who checked it could not budge it.

Lol, I thought I probably wasn't the only one! My only thought with my water breaking was how much it would suck to have to uninstall it to wash the cover.

And now it's in, woo hoo! So I can put dd's Boulevard back there and install the infant bucket. :D It occurred to me that maybe I was so excited because then I could get the baby's seat in too and we'd be all set, but since it took me a couple hours to even realize that I'd be able to put the baby's seat in after I got the Regent installed I don't think that was it, lol!

I enjoy "playing/installing" my carseat into my car every other weekend so that we can have all 4 kids harnessed when we have the two step kids. My hubby thinks I am nuts of course. It's alot of work to do it every other weekend because I not only have to install two more, but switch them all around to make them fit in my van. Then when the weekend is done, the two have to be moved to my husbands van and I have to reinstall the other two in my van where they go during the week. I LOVE it and will be very sad when the 9 year old is too big for the regent... I'm guessing by spring. I told him that I am going to talk his mom into not feeding him and putting books on his head so he can be in the seat longer...LOL.

Yep... I know how car seat addiction is!
