RF 33 vs. 35lbs

I see that everyone is checking out their new seats for the 33 or 35 lb sticker. Mine hasn't arrived so I can't contribute yet, but here's my question: Is is just what the sticker says or did they change the seat in some way for the extra 2 lbs?

You can probably figure out where I'm going with this. If it's a matter of the sticker but the seats have been tested to 35, then why can't you keep the seat RFing to 35?

Thanks.

If you have a seat stickered to 33lbs you can't use it beyond that because the manual says so. Doing so is using the seat against the manufacturers instructions and we don't know for SURE that the 33lbs seats were tested to 35lbs.

There is no way to know for sure what might happen if you go to 35 lbs in a seat stickered for 33 lbs. If you go against the manufactuer and somehting were to happen it would all fall on you for not following the advoce of the manufacure. :twocents:

There's no way to know for sure there were no changes. Even if there were not, it's actually illegal to use beyond the sticker in states with proper use clauses (which many have).

That makes sense. I just couldn't figure out why everyone was talking about the sticker like that was the only difference.

Thanks!
