I want to order a collegiate RA from Babyage, (just for the color)RED-BURGUNDY so the choices are
Oklahoma
Georgia
Maryland
Alabama
Florida State

but I want a tan shell (to match my car interior;)), in the stock photos I can't tell from tan or gray and CS is closed today I will have to wait until tomorrow, and maybe the price won't be the same I know the sale ends today! Do any of you own one or know?

All the shells for the RA are light gray. Same for the Marathon. They don't have different colors like the infant carriers do. :)

ETA: It's a very very light gray - almost offwhite...?

Marathons do have slight variations. There's a gray and a tan.

I'm not sure if it's the same for RAs. If it is, the color of the straps should be a pretty good indication.

edit: hmm, all black straps and the MAs have gray hugs. I'd bet they are gray shells (if there is a difference in RAs). Really, the difference in the MA colors is subtle.

Interesting! All of my Britax seats are the same color - I guess b/c I don't have any beige-ish covers. :)

My marathon with gray straps has a gray shell. My marathon with tan straps has a tan shell. There is a sticker inside the shell, under the child's bottom, that says what color the shell is.

I am guessing that seats with black straps will have gray shells.

The difference isn't much, btw.

Actually, the infant carrier only comes with a black shell now. It hasn't come with the off white for a few years.
